The goal of the Dental Therapy Program is to reduce tooth decay in the region, particularly among pre-school and school-age children. The Supervisor of Regional Dental Programs, a dental therapist, is responsible for dental education and health promotion in the communities.
Goals of the Dental Therapy Program:
- Remain active in the schools and to engage teachers and parents
- Encourage the reduction of sugary/junk foods
